Does your church use direct deposit for payroll or pay bills electronically through online banking? If so, this update applies to you.

ACH Fraud Monitoring Policy Due June 22, 2026

Beginning June 22, 2026, new NACHA requirements for ACH payments require organizations that originate electronic payments to have a written fraud monitoring policy on file. This includes churches of every size.

The good news is that compliance is straightforward. We have provided a policy template designed with local churches in mind. Simply:

  • Review the policy document

  • Fill in your church's specific information

  • Obtain the appropriate signatures

  • Keep the completed policy on file

Deadline: June 22, 2026.

We want to walk alongside every church through this. Our desire is that no congregation faces this alone or finds itself caught off guard. If you have questions reach out to Julie at Julie@alliancenw.org. We're ready to help and look forward to partnering with you through this process.

Please complete and sign the attached ACH Fraud Monitoring Policy by June 22, 2026.
