Vision Alaska helps create partnerships where ANW churches unite with Alaskan churches to champion and support their missional ministry opportunities across the state.
Alaska isn’t just a place on the map; it’s a unique mission field in our own district. In many ways, ministry in Alaska is more akin to missions overseas than ministry in Olympia. This is your opportunity to partner with our Alaska leaders in a mutually benefitting way that will bring Fourfold transformation in areas that desperately need it. Together, we can make a kingdom impact in Alaska as in Heaven.
Partnership Opportunities
Here are some of the needs we see and are praying about for all of Alaska.
Service Projects
Peer into the heart of Alaska, and you’ll glimpse the pressing needs that stir our prayers and fuel our passion for Gospel transformation. Explore partnerships chosen to empower our Alaskan churches and involve your own congregation in this unique opportunity.
Leadership Development
Northbound is a leadership pathway being established to equip leaders for Alaska from Alaska. The pathway will include trainings to equip leaders with culturally contextualized Alaska Ministry realities along with solid Biblical foundations. The goal is to have a mirrored program in each network. Life in Alaska is not for everyone, which is why the need to equip local Alaskans is so important.
Church Planting
We invite you to join us in prayer about where the Holy Spirit might be calling us to plant Alliance Churches in Alaska. Our desire is for God to open doors in areas where there is not already a strong Gospel witness, or where there is an unreached people group.
Apostolic Opportunities
Alaskan ministry doesn’t fit the normal pastoral or church scenario. These missional settings are generally not self-sustaining, but are desperately needed in villages and outlying areas. For outreach ministries like these to happen, the churches need partners.
