Symposium 2026

  • Broadway Commons 1300 Broadway Street Northeast Salem, OR, 97301 United States (map)

Innovative Mission Symposium

A. B. Simpson asserted that the “best evangelistic work” of his day was done in rescue missions in the city. Rather than plant churches, Simpson instructed his followers, “If you wish to have a ‘strong Alliance branch’ you should engage yourselves in ‘practical Christian work,’ and plant city rescue missions.”

This 2-and-a-half-day event is intended to help church leaders strategically and wisely launch an innovative mission that addresses urgent needs in their community. Our time together will help you design, develop, and launch your mission through an immersive and workshop-based experience. By the end of the event, we hope you will have a clear idea of how to reach your community with a gospel of salvation for the body as well as the soul.

The Symposium will be followed up with 3 collaborative zoom huddles over the year to help guide your process from a missional idea to missional implementation.

This event is for Lead Pastors, Outreach Pastors, and Associate Pastors alike. It is not limited to those roles and we highly encourage you to think about 3-4 key leaders to bring along with you to this immersive experience.
