Sexual Health
Statistics tell us that 25% of pastors are addicted to porn and an additional 25% have recently visited a porn-site on the Internet.  Honestly, it’s killing us. Among so many other things, Pornography and inappropriate sexual behavior steals the joy of being engaged in the life of Jesus and his mission, It depletes a leaders impotence and effectiveness.  Rather than shame a person deeper into secrecy and greater destructive behavior, we are fostering a culture where a leader can get the help he/she really needs to be free from the control of this counterfeit god. 
So we’re stepping up in our efforts to address sexual health.  At our regional conference, CONVERGE (District conference) this spring we’re spending a session with Ted Roberts and his wife.  For Years Ted lead East Hills Four Square Church, in Gresham Or. He is a recovering sexual addict, authored Pure Desire and has helped thousands of men and women recover sexual health.  
As a matter of principle we’re encouraging all our leaders to subscribe to a Web accountability program. We’re also gather a list of professional help for leaders from across the region and will post them here as soon as we have them assembled.

Addressing Sexual Health
